Students participated in a range of activities today to mark the global day of action on climate change.
Students started the day watching informational video clips, chosen to engage our students in thinking about climate change. These serious videos were followed by some fun, a 'race to save the world'. Well done to the blue and green teams who finished equal first. After expending all their energy students were happy to sit down and listen to our guest presenter, Ibu Hani from the Jari foundation. She spoke about the work her foundation is doing with local communities to protect local environments. Students finished the morning by participating in tree planting, contributing to their local environment. Throughout the morning students demonstrated a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to improve the future. Well done.
