Sekolah Nusa Alam offers Cambridge Primary curriculum for 5 to 11 year olds. It provides a strong foundation for students at the beginning of their schooling before progressing through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate way. Sekolah Nusa Alam employs teachers who are experienced with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. Ibu Dee is the homeroom teacher for year 1 while Ibu Fifin is the homeroom teacher for year 2. They both collaborate with Ibu Aisyah in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) for year 1 and 2 students.
Ibu Julia and Pak Gabriel are the homeroom teachers for years 3 and 4. In years 5 and 6, Pak Adit and Ibu Amanda are the homeroom teachers. Ibu Amanda is also the Art teacher for Primary, Year 7 and Year 8. We also have Pak Anam to lead Physical Education for all Primary levels.
Cambridge Primary has a very flexible curriculum. It is not restrictive. It can bring local and international examples into the class, and it works exceptionally well with primary age students.
Cambridge Primary - Years 3 to 6
Our curriculum is flexible and is adapted to suit the context, culture and ethos of Sekolah Nusa Alam. Cambridge Primary is taught in cooperation with the national curriculum-as part of a bilingual programme. For Year 6 students, as it is the preparation path before students enter their secondary levels, our teaching process introduces specialized teachers for: Science, Mathematics and Religion classes.
