Sekolah Nusa Alam welcomes students from a range of cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Our enrolment process is designed to ensure that children are well-placed for success within our academic and pastoral framework.

Who Can Enrol?

We accept students aged 3-18. Applicants should demonstrate age-appropriate academic ability and reasonable English proficiency. Language and academic support is provided by the school where necessary. Parental understanding and support of the school’s educational mission are also important factors in the admissions decision.

We are an inclusive school. Enrolment of children with special needs is considered on a case-by-case basis. The costs of extra support, such as a ‘shadow teacher’ are usually born by the family.

Completed registration form
Copy of passport photo page or birth certificate
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Latest school report(s)
Vaccination certificates
Any relevant medical, learning support, or psychological reports

Enrolment Steps

Initial Enquiry & Registration

Parents may contact the school via email, phone, or in person. The school will determine the appropriate year group based on the child’s date of birth and ask for an initial English proficiency self-assessment.

Application Submission

The complete registration form and required documentation must be submitted before assessment.

Assessment

Each student will be assessed for literacy and numeracy skills using a placement test or Cambridge baseline assessment, depending on their age.

Admission Decision

Unconditional : Full Access

Conditional : Access With Support

Lower Placement : If Intensive Support Needed

Temporary Enrolments

We offer temporary enrolments of up to 6 months with pro-rata fees. After this, students are considered full-time. All students are subject to the same application and assessment process.

Start Dates & Academic Calendar

In line with the Indonesian education system, we follow a Northern Hemisphere academic calendar with classes typically starting in July. Mid-year entry is possible, subject to availability.
