We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology and Marine Science Teacher to join our secondary team in a dynamic international school environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world environmental awareness.

Applications are welcome from qualified Indonesian and expatriate teachers. Expatriate applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Biology and Marine Science at Lower Secondary, IGCSE and/or AS/A Level (as assigned)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred, inquiry-based lessons
  • Prepare students for Cambridge external examinations
  • Support practical investigations, laboratory work, and field-based learning where appropriate
  • Assess, track and report student progress using a range of assessment strategies
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects
  • Maintain a safe and well-managed laboratory and learning environment
  • Support environmental initiatives, enrichment activities and school events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Marine Science or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching secondary science and/or Cambridge curricula preferred
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory skills
  • Fluent English (minimum C1 CEFR or equivalent; IELTS 7.0+ typically expected in international schools)
  • Reflective, responsible and student-centred professional with strong collaboration skills

Desirable

  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE or AS/A Level Biology
  • Experience in marine science, environmental science or fieldwork-based programmes

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher to deliver a comprehensive PE programme that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, resilience and healthy lifestyles. The programme supports the holistic development of students and aligns with the learner outcomes promoted by Cambridge Assessment International Education, encouraging students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged learners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across assigned year levels
  • Develop students’ physical fitness, coordination, teamwork and sports skills
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, resilience and positive attitudes toward physical activity
  • Encourage leadership, collaboration and personal goal-setting in sports and activities
  • Organise and supervise sports activities, competitions and school events
  • Assess and monitor student progress in physical development, participation and effort
  • Ensure safe practices in all physical activities and proper use of sports facilities and equipment
  • Promote inclusion, participation and good sportsmanship among all students
  • Support extracurricular sports programmes and school teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues on school events, sports days and wellbeing initiatives

Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen (WNI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) or related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification or relevant teaching certification
  • Experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting preferred
  • Knowledge of a range of sports, physical training activities and student fitness development
  • Good communication and classroom management skills
  • English proficiency sufficient to work in an international school environment (minimum B2 CEFR preferred)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
